The Texas DWI Intervention Program (commonly referred to as DWII | DWIROP | DWI Repeat Offender Program) is a 32-hour Intervention Program designed for individuals who have been arrested or convicted of multiple DWI offenses in Texas.

DWI Intervention Program FAQs:

Duration: The length of the DWI Intervention program in Texas is 32-hours usually broken up into 7.5 weeks, 2 X per week, 2 hours per session.

Fees: $350 Participants are typically required to pay fees for the program out of pocket. The fees cover educational materials and administrative costs. It's important to note that the DWI Intervention Program has a specific curriculum that is provided by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation Court-Ordered programs.

In addition to taking the DWI Intervention program, individuals charged with DWI in Texas are also required to attend a Victim Impact Panel Course (VIP).

Substance Abuse Evaluations: Individuals enrolled in the Texas DWI Intervention Program may also be required to get a Substance Abuse Evaluation to determine the extent of their alcohol or drug-related issues.

Individuals enrolled in the Texas DWI Intervention Program may also be required to attend an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) or Supportive Outpatient Program (SOP).
